Good points to consider in the last 4 or five posts. This is what I wanted to learn was how the general membership felt. Thanks for the input.

The site will grow, as more people find out about it through various means. I saw yesterday that there is an ad in the MAAC mag now as well.

I agree, bigger does not mean better. Its a case of having/wanting membership that both can contribute and also learn from the posts here. Many of us have gotten to "know" one another and that is very nice.

I know even if (like Jason, been busy) I have not had the time to add as much as I usually do, It nice to come "home" and catch up on whats goign on with my fellow Canadian pilots & builders.

That begs the next questions from a relative newbie. I see the banner adds at the top of the page, and that's cool. They are tasteful, unobtrusive, and provide easy access to valuable vendors.

Do they pay the bills? You need serious computing power and expertise to maintain this site, never mind the dollars to pay the hydro and access fees.

Do you have a "day job" that you have to work hard at as well, Jason? Running web site is not that easy, (I maintain 3) but to run a full blown Bulletin Board system boggles my mind, and if you do it in your "spare" time, when do you sleep?

My hat is off to you, man!!

Like a few of the others have mentioned, I do simply browze other sites once in awhile but this site is home for me. Not a day goes by, unless I'm away, that I am not on RCCanada for at least a few minutes.

And like Andrew, I have met and made quite a few friends from my association on this web site. I love being able to contribute and have received a lot of help from others who regularily do the same.

I do not speak alone when I say that Jason deserves all the credit for the best site on the web. I would say with out a doubt that my life would not be the same without RCCanada! Thanks Jason and to everyone who are postiive contributors here!!!
