Happy tale

I have been car less for the winter and still am, so getting to a flying field is a bit of a challange.
Anyways I built the 50" hl glider called the Whisp a couple of weeks ago to fly in smaller areas. The local pit I used to fly in now has too many trees.
So I though my local park you be a great area, lots of room. The only real hazards are a line of trees beside the field. I throw away from the trees into the field and somehow my glider does a high g turned right into them before I could recover. Seems under hard launch the Whisp veers to the right very hard. So I trim it out and try again, same bloody thing happens. This time breaking the fuse.
So I go home and do repairs and try again. This time I stand in the middle of the field to give me plenty of room all around and launch. Right as I released a gust of wind sent it straight up, stalls, I recover just as another gust hits it and sends it into the ground like a lawn dart.
More repairs and some reinforcement.
Anyways, today I decided to scout a new location.
After about an hour of looking at some fields I kinda recall I find one that seems fit.
About the size of a school football filed with a large hill at one corner. Got six flights in without a problem. I finally found a good spot to fly from, now just need somewhere to fly my powered craft(s), lol.
