well as I said before the FIRST video is FAKE!!!

Just think of what had to happen to make it....

1) all fishermen take a camera boat with them... just in case they are going to get buzzed by a fire bomber. PLUS they new the direction that the bomber was going to come from.

2) not only one camera boat but 2.... as the angle changed - when they try to start the boat motor, it is shot from the other side of the the boat, so a camera had to be there...

3) then the switch back to the first camera and damn that second boat is not in the pictures - just the plane.

BUT it is STILL FUN is watch.

fake vs. staged?

I don't think that there is an arguement that the shot was staged. OF COURSE it was staged. But did a PBY actually come that close to a fishing boat?

It looks pretty darn real to me. You can even see the reflection on the bottom of the hull as the plane lifts over it...
