Fox Eagel 60 Modification

I have a Fox Eagle 60 I. I know I should pitch it but it is all I have. I wanted to do a PDP type of porting modification on this engine but there is not enough meat. I am wondering what would happen if I drilled 3 small holes at the base of the baffle. It would make since that this would provide cooling to the exhaust side of the baffle and encourage scavenging of the exhaust gases without losing to much of the fresh fuel charge?

Can anyone comment on this?

Do a search on Fox engines. I remember from quite awhile ago there was a site that catered to the modifications for Fox. I have a Red head 60 still in the box and there was info on this also.
