GMS on a 60

I had an ancient K&B 40 on a 72" otter. I think it weighed around 7-8lbs and it flew beautifully. The engine wouldn't get you out of trouble though. I think that we get used to flying with huge margins of power to weight in r/c and forget that planes can "fly on the wing" as easily as on power. Just don't yank the sticks around and you'll be fine. I have GMS .47 on a kavalier and that engine screams! I think it will be more than enough for a 60 size trainer. Only one way to find out though!!!
Good luck...

Hey Chris, I'm going to be putting a camera in my kadet senior.

I'm not sure what your trainer is, but the kadet is pretty big. I can't believe how well the plane flies on an os .52 fs. I don't really think the camera will affect the flight charateristics of the plane because it has such a low wing loading.

How much will the candy drop module weight? I'd just calculate the new wing loading and decide if it would be plausible to fly with that engine.
