Krylon Clear Coat

Ok so once again I am confused.(Happens easily) I have read many threads on clear coats, and seems the agreement in regards to Krylon paint is: good paint, easy to use, but not nitro proof without a clear coat. Ok, I'm good with that.
Now, I find threads stating that ANY POLYURETHANE clear coat will work to fuel proof as long as it is compatible with the paint.
Then WHY do I find threads stating Krylon clear coat is NOT fuel proof? It clearly states right on the front of the can that it is a Polyurethane Clear Coat. I have attached a pic of the can.
Just for info purposes I used this to clear coat my J3 and after a season of flying have NO issues with the finish and I am not the best at cleaning the plane right after finishing flying.
Could it be a new formula?? Just wondering and any help would be great.

Re: Krylon Clear Coat

I find Krylon not even a little bit fuel proof , but that is the acrylic spray . The one you showed is not the box/stock Krylon as in clear fixative used in art etc but is actually polyurethane spray . Different product , same company . . An entirely different animal .It is a poly varnish product .
