Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
Jim Brown is seen on May 26 at Arnprior Giant Event! Jim was told repeatedly to keep his shirt on after Zone Director said he could get his picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone - AKA - MAAC MAG. Luckily for us he kept his shirt on.
Jim Seen playing with his 200mph Diamond Dust cause it was so windy that day!
Jim is also seen with his large Cap style model Iam sure he will discribe in great detail for everyone.

Thanks for posting the pics, Ken. My notoriety just went up a notch.
While some people have claimed to do 200 mph with their Diamond Dust, I estimate that mine will do 120 mph at the most. Usually when I do an 800' dive straight down. If you want to do the math, I'm using a 9x8 prop turning at 16000 on the ground. Figure 17000 in the air. I like flying it as it keeps my thumbs nimble for my jets.
The big Cap 232 is a Pirate Models 35% kit, built by Kevin Perry. It has a 3W 100 for power. Last weekend it was swinging a 27x10 Menz S prop at 6000. This weekend I'll be trying a 26x10 Menz S. It's not going to be a 3D'er, but it does basic aerobatics quite nicely. As well as tumbles (which I like.)
I'd love to be a spectator at the Scale Aerobatics Nats, particularly as it is being held at my home club. Unfortunatly, I've already commited to attending the Heart of Ohio Jet Scramble that weekend. Sigh. Too many events, not enough time.
