Must be fast shutter speed... neither prop is feathered, if he'd lost either engine, he wouldn't be practice dropping and it would be highly unlikely that he'd lose both engines at the same time!

A message saying the field was closed was posted on our club web site the day of... too bad I had to work that day.... was talking to one of the guys this weekend, he got some of it on video to show at the next club meeting.

Always interesting...

That is the most delightful field watering system I have seen, for sure!

Here in the Okanagan, we were "treated" to the whole array of waterbombers, CL415s, Convair 540s, Trackers, helicopters of all shapes including that big freighter conversion, and- wait for it- the Mighty Mars: some firetruck! I was working when they were up here, but there was tons of tv coverage of the old bird slurping up lakes and dumping them on the huge firestorms we had here. (We were lucky not to be threatened).

The way things are shaping up for this years, we could easily have a repeat; nowhere worth the attendant airshow that goes with that devastation.

Seems you guys saw lemons, and made lemonade!
