Are you sure you need to go 5 or 6?

The reason I ask is a friend at our club has the same plane and he flies it on a single 4S-3000 using the HK NTM 42-48

it flies amazing on this power system, loops rolls and aerobatics. Not sure about his run time but it was resepectable

I was so impressed with the performance I ordered the same motor for one of my planes.

PS- if you get that motor, dont forget the accessories for it; I forgot to order it for mine and had to put in another order just for this:

Thank you.
The other consideration is go with a premium motor and use fewer cells ie a Scorpion series 420-630kv and go with a 4S pack . They have some easy to read prop charts with recommended prop sizes. What you save on higher cell counts you can spend on the motor.

One of the issues with your cheap motors from HK is that they don't always produce the advertised power. Would also recommend going with a quality ESC that can be set to the motor parameters. Yes they all works out of the box but which systems work better ( more efficiently) and last longer is a better solution.

You are welcome to pm me with your email address and I can make some suggestions based on what you want your airplane to do. With what the cost is of 6S battery packs are , and over time these may have to be replaced the higher investment in motor/ESC's becomes more attractive. Anyways your dollar.

Also the comments on a good charger , agree totally.
