Wall Charger for NiMH?

I want to switch to NiMH for Tx and Rx. I want to use 1650mah for Tx and 1650 for Rx. Will the factory wall charger work? I don't need quick charging capabilities and don't have the funds for charging equipment.
the charger has 50mah rate. I know it will charge NiMH safely without heating them up or overcharging but will the charger charge them FULLY?
If it isn't Baroque don't fix it.

In a word yes but, rather than paraphrase, for detail I'll refer you to the expert; http://www.rcbatteryclinic.com/

Like Jim said it will work but will take a lot longer than the standard 14-16 hours.

Normal 600mah nicads for your tx and rx are charged at the 1/10th C rating of 60mah which is close to the value of your wall charger.

The nimh 1650mah cells at 1/10C is around 165mah for the 14-16 hour charge.

If you want awesome, you have to scratch build it!

But, on the plus side, there is no memory effect, so just plug it in after every flying session and it will always be charged. No worries about recharging after a partial discharge.
