Neat . Yes these ARE getting very scarce in decent condition and /or complete and original . Had a chance for castings to build one a few years back but with everything else on my platter I passed . Also sold castings I had for a 1/4 scale Cirrus and a couple of other engines .From scratch is a big deal and time consuming ..

Have only seen a couple in real life and that was a few decades ago .I know some were built by Burgess . I knew a chap when I was a lad (1950s) who said he had planted one in the runway at the then popular Eatons contest .Never saw the remains though .

Not sure I would run it with that prop even if not nicked but it would probably like the inertia of a heavy prop .

Got to love the radials Hank, especially this one being the first. It was a copy of a 1928 LaBlond full scale.
