Seriously, I stayed up last evening untill 12am to watch Burt and Mike on the Tonight Show with Jay Lenno. They really got the crowd's and Jay's respect it seemed, and it was cool to watch them talk about the experience. Burt said he was in tears when Mike landed safetly, and Mike said at times he was pretty scared... but what a pair of gentlemen they are... Its still slightly unbelieveable - even thought 20 million US is a lot of $$, its such a small amount of what is spent on the US space program. And they actually did what they set out to do, on the first try. Wow...
