Yeah....good to see you too Randy.....I did have to get Carl to a flight and it was getting to be a long day but I wont tell you what time the two of us were out of bed to be at Otterville cause it would upset you too much.
Dont worry about El Presidente free loading on me........I stiffed him for a damned good dinner before I dropped him at the airport and hit the road for the north

I was planning on going. I had even completed a couple of successful practice shots using the limbo poles and ribbon at our club, but I decided to go to our club's float fly instead.

By the way- what are the restrictions or rules for competing? Any particular kind of airplane? What about guidance systems?
I don't know what we're YELLING ABOUT! ......... LOUD NOISES ! ! !

Well another good year in Otterville on sat. a little more breezy on sunday.
The weather good have cooperated a bit more. it was a bit gusty for some pilots. It didn't stop all the people from having a good time watching great pilots dealing with wind. Well on sat. the barn won with 9 contestants I got a good whack too. Sunday was better I nearly made it 3 more inches to the right..... and some luck. it hit the barn and the wing blew apart in two pieces and the rest of the fuse launched though the barn with the engine still running. Just not enough lift with out any wings I think I will retire the plane. it has had a rough life..... Thanks larry M for the free barn plane and andrew for the great launch sunday. Pics will be coming soon

Here are the rules for the barn.

There may be small adjustments to the barn next year. It now has many holes. The barn is framed up and sheeted with coro. it wouldn't be so bad if it was coro barn against balsa or foam airplanes
