Serious accident

I just saw on the news in london that this morning at the forest city flyers there was an accident with a trainer model. A older pilot pilot was hit in the head with a flying airplane. The news didn't give much info on who the person was but they said he was in critical condtion and airlifted to a london hospital. There was police and fire in the back ground. Looked like quite a crowd.

They talked to derrick from avf and he showed the news crew some airplanes and answered some questions about how this has never happend in his 30+ years.

does any one have and info on the person who was hit? and why?

Randy is quite correct in his approach and I would ask all on behalf of the members involved in the accident, and the MAAC board of directors,to keep discussion of this incident to a minimum for the time being ,until the investigation is complete and all the details are recorded.
A small prayer to whatever supreme being you recognize on behalf of the victim would not be out of line.
