I've not tried the T6/3D, it's a big plane so it might not on 2 cells. Mine weighs 12 oz with paint, 1200 mah 3S2P batteries etc. so if yours is lighter that might make a lot of difference. The smaller motor works with smaller batteries, yours is unpainted, has 1 less servo, uses a lighter speed controller than mine etc. etc. Try it and let us know.

Salutations from the Pacific North WET!

S.P.A.D.s, Fibreglas & Balsa EDF's, Foamies, Brushless powered and nitro balsa planes, they're all in my hanger, just don't explain what it all means to the mrs, eh?

seems like I got the bad motor of the bunch so I am gonna send it back to oilman when I get back next Sunday from vacation, I'm leaving this afternoon. And i'll try it then when I get the motor, I did paint it but used light paint and not alot, Matteo had his epa3d weighing in ont he scales at around 12 oz with a t6/3d and 3s1p lipo, he said it would hover around 1/2 throttle. So we will see. The plane doesn't seem to be very heavy at all for it's size! And with the brushed option for this plane being a speed 350 geared i think the motor should hover it aorund...but liek I said we'll see! I'll build another one when this one is destroyed!
