40 sized ciggypack how would i modify the plans

What kind of .40 are you going to put on it? If its a bushing 40 just leave the plans as is, or increase the dimensions by maybe 10-15%.

Hovering

Ciggypacs hover just fine, moving the C. of G. back helps as does a large diameter small pitch prop (12X4 or so) and real light fast servo's (Hitec HS81's or HS85'S) . If the rudder is functional that adds to the control as does about 3 degrees right thrust. The thing is it's how you set it up that determines its usefuleness in any particular flight regime. A plane setup for hover will be handful if flown as you would a pattern ship for example. If you really like to hover, why not go and get into Helicopters though? just a thought.

lol chopers no way. i am fairly new in the hobby. but i can fly lots of spads so i want to give this one a try. . other words i dont have many planes and only have standard servos. will they work good or bad? probly to slow right?
