Crosscheck: I just remembered another book I have. (It's actually Eric's) It is called " Heroes and Aeroplanes of the Great War". It has a small black and white rendering of the Spad scheme and some information on Rene' Fonck. It has drawings of the various squadron "Storks" also. I'll bring it along too.

Had a nice little family trip to Ottawa on the week-end. Visited the National Air Museum again. It's always a treat to see the historic aircraft up close. This time my focus was on the WW 1 replicas of course. It is always amazing to consider that those early air fighters had the courage to fly in these things at all, never mind shooting at one another with machine guns. I better get busy if I hope to fly my replica on the 18th, I have not found much time but I work better when a deadline is approaching...............keep at it you guys............

Had the Coro D V11 up last night for its first sortie since the mid air.Fun airplane to fly and very maneuverable . Flew at the LMAC field and as of yet no Allied aircraft were spotted, did chase a bird however. Heir Robostraus will be patrolling the LMAC skies well into September just to see if any Allied cowards have the guts to show up.
