New receiver problem.

Hey guys. I just upgraded my raptor v2 30 from its old 72mhz band to a new dx6i. Bought the ar610 receiver. Plugged everything in and my side movement servo is not working and my tail rotor is only working one way. Anyone had this problem?

Re: New receiver problem.

The answer to a few questions may help suss out a solution or get us pointed that way:

Have you used this Tx in any other craft?

Is this one newly assigned a memory slot? What aircraft type and swash?

Have you tried that assignment with any other receiver to see which end the problem is on?

Have you tried resetting the parameters? Wondering if this is a failsafe problem?

Have you checked servo and swash travel values? Curves?

I am trying to remember if the 6i has a servo display page. If so you can see a visual representation of the signals going out for each channel. Would help you follow along and confirm their range.
I know there's money in aviation........I put it there!

Re: New receiver problem.

Try binding the receiver first off, then set it up as a new model under the helicopter function.

Hey. It's a brand new dx6I transmitter and a brand new receiver. I bound the trans to the receiver. It's the only model in the transmitter. I've set my swash to the proper seeing. All my curves and pitch settings are at neutral. I have throttle and up and down. I have forward and backward tilt. Bit no side to side.

Dx6I has a servo monitor. When I'm using the side tilt the monitor shows nothing. As well with the tail rotor only pitching one side.

May have to zip into the local hobby shop

Re: New receiver problem.

Open the battery cover and check the date codes

This product bulletin has been provided for consumers who have DX6i radios with particular attention
to those radios with date codes of 809E, 810E, 811E, 812E. Please check your radio using the
evaluation process below. If you find a irregularity with your radio, please return it by completing the
DX6i Product Inspection Request Form provided within this document.
How to know if your product needs to be checked?
We would suggest all radios should be checked but radios with a date codes

If you have one of these codes they maybe a recall on your unit

see the link
Hope this helps
