Hey Bob...

Even if you haven't finished you Se5 by Otterville, you should bring it out anyway for a little "show and tell".

I suppose I could, that way I can get some more input from the coro masters. This thing has ailerons on both wings and i'm thinking one small servo in each lower wing and then just connect the upper and lower with a rod. The real one had the upper and lower ailerons connected like that. I'm just puzzling through this whole " fold the coro over the spar thing" and hoping to come out with a more or less straight wing. I might try a plane with a straight wing next time. There is a lot of dihedral on the SE 5a and it makes more work. I know I'll get more familiar with the plastic, but, so far I can't see it being any more easy than good old balsa. I have convinced myself that massively destructive mid-airs will occur at a much lessor rate with the Great War Bipes. I built the upper wing with Gary's method but used a full width spar. It is good and solid. I am using the Deadeye Allen technique for the lower wing just to gain the experience. Overall I think it will work out just fine. The next one will go together faster I think. Is that Pup ready for first flight????

Otterville ! ! !
Weather ? Looks great. I'll bring the lucky wet streamers to make sure.
Crosscheck ? I'm bringing a fresh gallon of 15% and the two oldest Fulmars. Gonna try APC 9-5's.
Look out.... I need two cuts and my streamer back for six rounds, IF, I want to count my CNPS ! ! ! (you bet ! )
I'm bringing my unfinished WW1 Spad VII to scare everyone for the Dawn Patrol...
Gonna be a great day.
I'm all charged up, the batteries will be 6 AM.
I hate to be in the middle... but are the Toronto gang beating the London gang this year ?
HeHeHe ! ! ! It will be great to see you guys again.
Take care,
Have fun,
