I have a ch.32 Rx and Tx set of Hitec crystals and am wondering if it is transferable into a newer transmiter. I have a Futaba SkySport that is currently ch.47. I am wondering if 32 is high band like the 47 and if i can interchange the two sets of crystals.

I am building 3 identical SPAD dogfighters for formation flights with my older brother and my dad. I don't want a 10 year old Tx and Rx in it anymore.

Channel 32 is considered low band 47 is high. Never a good idea to mix brand names although I have succesfully used Hitec RX Xtals in Futaba RX's and vice versa. The TX though is tricky, unless you send it in and have it tuned you have a high chance of disturbing someone elses aircraft. Your radio could transmit signals (bleeding) into one or two channels above or below your frequency plus, if you are not licensed it is technically illegal to change the frequency.
Do a good range check
