The mail sure is funny sometimes... I got my issue faster than most this time, yet I live in a small town away from any major center.

And two days ahead of other MAAC members who live in Kirkland Lake also.

All of the magazines are delivered to the post office on the same day. Bulk mail does not get post marked as there is no stamp to be cancelled ...
My understanding is that because of the lower priority, the mag gets sorted and delivered last in line (or close to) by the post office.

As I say, we are taking steps to improve delivery to the member, and this issue shows that we are (generally) making some advancements.

Mr. Morrison I just have a hard time understanding why out of the 8 or 10 magazine subscriptions I receive most of which come from the USA meaning routing through 2 different postal services the MAAC magazine which is in its entirety done in Canada is the only one that may arrive at the beginning of the published month or near the end. Every one of the other magazines are monthly except RC Report (its the only other RC mag I subscribe to) and all of them you can pretty much guarantee they will arrive within a day or two of the same day each and every month. Every one of them always arrive a week or two before the published month so that information about what is going on that month is current not passed due. I am sorry if you do not agree with me but it doesn't work if I ask MAAC to be understanding if I don't pay my dues on time.

Just got mine in Orillia today. Man my wife likens this thing to a girly mag as I get ancy to get it, the days work comes to a stop when it comes in, and I don't put it down until it's finished. My wife is a great sport about this sport. She thinks it's great for me and is happy that I have a great past time but she just asks me not to ask her to participate.

No need to go any further than that Dennis.

Man, I thought you managed to avoid the usual (aka Propwornout) this issue by being smart........and polite.......... and begining this thread Keith.

.........guess not. hehe

HEY DENNIS...................Call Paul Martin.........see what he can do for you buddy.

PS: What I'm sure Dennis really meant to say was; "Thanks Keith for making the magazine a respectable publication over the past few years and congradulations on an a very successful World FAI Gliding event!"
