Wife flies, daughter flies, Dad buys lots of fuel and balsa

Oh yeah, and to clarify, it wasn't the driving test I was saying was tough, it was the test to convice Dad to pay for the insurance

If I can share the experience, don't push the kids. When they go at their own pace, it's lots of fun and the sense of accomplishment is theirs.

Life ...... is good

Thanks for the well wishes

Wow! I really think that is fantastic.
You go girl!!!
Nuker I really commend you and your wife for encouraging your daughter to get involved in this and making it a real family thing.
I know that if I was still with my kids I would be doing the very same thing.
Honer and blessings to you all.

OOoo Nuker you'll have her flying for next 3 or 4 years.... Then she'll be 18 and you know there's something even more interesting than R/C flying....... Yyyyupp .... BOYS....
I was was there back when I was 18, but it was girls ... R/C went on highatus for about 5 years....
But on the bright side maybe the new boyfriend or even "husband" will start to take up the hobby....

Am I looking to far ahead or what...........

It's always a high to see a young person get his or her wings. Almost as much fun as getting your own.

We recently had a father and son (12 years old) get their wings. As usually happens, the young one caught on quicker and graduated first.
