Weight about 14lbs. Great power for scale aerobatics. Sounds good too. It will do all imac manouevers no problem. It's not a 3d setup of course if that's what you're looking for. Better off with a relatively lighter Saito 180 if that's the flying you want to do. Of course the cost of fuel is about a 1/4 of glow with the gas engine and minimal maintenance required!

FWIW Hitecs use universal connectors (like JR) that fit both types of receivers without modification.
If you don't have time to do it right this time, how are you going to have time to do it again?
