I too would like to extend my thanks(Randy, Bob, Bill, etc.) for a great weekend.

It is refreshing to see a "friendly" competition with the emphasis on sportsmanship, friendship and words of encouragement from this bunch.

It is also quite clear how high the bar has been set, based on the quality of flying and crashing that was being demonstrated. (If your going in, do it with style) Like the cartwheel, that was a 10!

I attended this event last year and it is what made me decide to practice up and make this my first try. (with some arm twisting from Don)

Also would like to thank the judges. It must have been brutal sitting on the flight line for hours in the heat.

They say trees are 90% air. Personally I think they are 100% tree.

Geesh guys, I had a big bottle of SP45 sitting on my tailgate all weekend...

Next year the judges better work on their tans before hand so they dont burn and peel.

The day after the weekend (my last organised flying event of this year) and I am a little let down - it seems right now its going to be forever but the winters do go buy fast for me. I have time to get my 2nd Extrs 300L ready that I picked up from Wild Bill, and perhaps next year I can actually get some flying time in before the contests..

A few more of you guys should try and make it up to the Northen IMAC next summer... hint hint!

Any of the flyers that still want to have some more fun are welcome to attend this pattern contest.

A pattern plane is not mandatory to fly in pattern, scale aerobatic airplanes are also welcome. Details in the link above.
