Hey salty just soak the bottle in some warm/hot water for awhile and the glue will soften right up and come off easy. As far as painting goes, I would just rough up the inside a little bit and paint it with your favorite spray bomb, no primer. This has worked well for me in the past, but other may have their own method that works too...what you got guys?

I use the cheap enamel spray paint from WalMart. The brand is ColourPlace and it resists fuel really well. Also used Tremclad but it's not as durable. I don't bother sanding the inside prior to painting, just wipe the inside with alcohol, apply your vinyl stripes or markings to the inside, wipe again with alcohol and then paint. One good coat does it for me. Cowls in the photo are gallon juice jugs painted on the inside. [/img]
