Hi Dan and Chris I could have all the functions if I used a 12 channel receiver but I don't have the room. Meanwhile I am programming it in Acro mode like my ASW20. I can mix the inner and outer ailerons and mix in crow at full flap. Throttle is on Rt. slider. We'll have to get together sometime. This year will be my first foray into sailplanes since the '70s. Giving up the jets for something tamer. Eric

Re: JR12X programming

I would set the plane type to Glider. Using a plane type of glider, at least on the 9303, changes some of the channel assignments. It will also make it easier to follow the Knight programming. If you leave it on acro you will have lots of frustration.

I have a 9 channel receiver in mine and it just fits. If you put the flaps on a Y connector you may be able to get away with an 8 channel receiver but then you loose the sub trim capability to make sure the travel is the same.

Re: JR12X programming

Eric I would go with Chris on this one, if you really want to stay in gliders, Acro runs out of stuff very fast. May as well take the plunge and do it right.
Jets eh, I always wanted one of those, just the price and all the licensing and no runway close to here, kind of put me off, so I flew stupid fast electric Funjets until I settled back to gliders to stay. Hey you welcome to come to COGG glider club, we fly west of Newmarket off a sod farm.
If you have a place to fly near Oshawa I am totally willing to come and see you
Seriously, since we are neighbors we could talk, let me know.
