It was freakin' awsome, WOOHOO, I love this hobby. It was a beautiful evening, only a slight wind, about 5kmh. I went out to the field thinking that I'd find an instructor out but no instructors were around. There was another more experienced flyer out though, so I asked if he could take it up and trim it out for me, so he did. The trims hardly needed to be touched and he passed me my remote. So I did my figure 8's, circuts around the field and so on. Now it was time to land, heart pounding, palms sweating, but no problem, nice smooth touch down, RIGHT ON. So I fueled 'er up and took matters into my own hands, took off, did some circuts, 8's and even some loops, brought 'er down nice and smooth. I was ecstatic, who knew how much fun this could be. So I ran 3 more tanks of fuel through, with no real problems and everything is still in one piece. AWSOME, I can't wait to go out again.

One more thing, I spent about 20 hours on the FMS sim before I flew the real thing. It may not be the best sim but for the price it definatley helped me out. I also want to thank all the guys (especially Ken) at our local club here in Medicine Hat for your patience and understanding. I can't wait to get my instructors pin so I can help others enjoy this wonderful hobby aswell. Keep Flyin'

Congratulations...I'm sure you will get that lump-in-th-thrat feeling when you move up through the hobby and try different things.........

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you will have to catch up.
