What charger????

I need a charger that I can use at home and in the field. The only thing it'll be charging is Tx and Rx packs in either Nicd or Nimh for the time being. I was looking at one of these two:

Any opinions on these or other suggestions?? I need to keep the price reasonable as well. Thanks.

I have the Great Planes Triton and love it.

I would buy another one tomorrow if something happened to it.

I did quite a lot of research before making this purchase and decided on this one.

Check out this site, Red has a lot of great information on batteries, chargers, etc. http://www.rcbatteryclinic.com/

Can't go wrong with the Triton.

To use at home as well as at the field will require will require some sort of 12v power supply/transformer.

The power supply can be made FREE from a discarded PC power supply box. There is a link on how to make them at www.rcbatteryclinic.com I have made a few and they have worked fine. Just go to your local computer store that repairs PC's and ask if you can take some old power supplies off their hands. Look for one that has a rocker on/off switch.

The triton is a great charger....but I think if I was buying a new charger I would go with the new Hobbico accu-cycle elite. It does everything and will do TWO of everything at the same time. They sell for $219+tx at Great Hobbies.
