K-W show

Definitely the best weather ever for the K-W Scale Rally!! I made the trip down with a few other Soo Modelers. Scott Gray made 16 hours in a car worthwhile, especially with his night show. Every time I see him fly those things, I'm amazed at what he can do! It was too bad to see that 44% Extra crash...I guess it's easy to get disoriented doing rolling circles five feet off the deck.

Yes! The same thing happens tomorrow with the airshow starting at 1pm.

cheers, Mike G

No flaperon mix whatsoever. Just the old fashion way.

Nuker, next weekend. Movie camera. Fazer ready to go again.
I never crash...I land with style!

I think we were both too tense to hit a flaperon switch.

We just used elevator

Next week, the video should be great!

I don't think that the guy flying the plane was doing rolling circles, now I didn't see the plane hit the ground but I know he was about 50 feet off the ground and it just went on a 45 degree angle and hit the ground while doing a fair good speed.
Just what I saw.

Yes, Mike was doing a rolling circle. (roller)
I have seen him do a hundred rollers of all types without a problem.
It is very easy to get disoriented in the part of the circle coming towards yourself.
Let's just leave it at that, I'm sure Mike is still in pain.

By the way, Mike got right back on the horse and put on an excellent show with his 52%er later in the day!

Got one better on ya Bob!!

TWO good days of flying at Kitchener!! Light breeze out the south lots of sun, methyl alcohol fumes, mixed with that stinky two stroke gasoline (nothing against them just the fumes make me woozy ) I had four (count em 4 good flights (the flight line was pretty busy) with no repeats of flight #3 Thanks to Jim McIntyre for the complete exhaust system for my Saito 56!!

Whoo hoo!! Hope Saturday is as good we're hoping to head to Stoney Creek's Scale fly.
