Hmmmmm!!!!! Well heres another suggestion then>>>>
Just disconnect the 6 oz tank and leave it in the plane empty and only use the 12 oz tank. That way both problems are solved.
Just because the smaller tank is there and you don't want to remove it or foam in the 12 oz by itself doesn't mean you HAVE to use the smaller tank.
It would serve no usefull purpose to plumb the two together as you don't need that much fuel and you don't need the weight of halling around fuel you won't need or use in a single flight!

just removed the 6 and foamed in the 12....i also have a plate on bottom for the tank to strap to so i used an elastic to hole as well as foam.
