JR 9303 vs 9503

I currently have a JR 9303 radio. I have seen a few JR 9503 radios for sale recently and am wondering if it is worth the switch. Can anyone provide information comparing the 9303 to the 9503? Or your personal observations.

Thanks

Is yours the 72 MHz module-based or the latter 2.4 version 9303?

Re: JR 9303 vs 9503

Hey Chris should have asked me yesterday at field, I still have both. The only difference between them is, on 9503 you have back lighted screen, more models and the latest ones came with DSMX but all can be upgraded if wanted.
Bottom line is there is not enough difference to need to upgrade. The gimbals on 9303 are actually better since that was the last one made in Japan, the 9503 was made in Malaysia and cheapened up a bit with sleeve bearings instead of ball bearings.

My Dad had a 9503 with Spektrum 2.4 conversion, worked great.

Re: JR 9303 vs 9503

9503 also has timer on the throttle stick. Nice, but not enough to switch.

If you are going to upgrade, the DX9 is the first real upgrade (or the DX8 if you never use the sliders). They add voice, telemetry, far more capable programming, etc
