Finally a great day at the field

Well Sat was 50k+ winds, Sunday was calm at home but 30k+ winds and cold again.
This morning, I headed out, saw some wind at home but figured what the heck, one more try. All I packed was my Twist, just in case of nutso winds again.
Well I had 4 flights with a total of 1 hr 20 minutes of flying
The gas tank is quite large as many folks put a .72 4-stroke but with an OS .46FX (plenty of power btw) it flies forever. The last 3 flights were dead sticks as I ran out of fuel . What a hoot!!
The season is far from over though I think I wore out my thumbs today.
Can't wait for next weekend! (Need to give the bipes some air time too )

Yes what a great day in Otterville too. It was cool this morning but by noon it finally warmed up. My older brother was down and he got in some good flights too.
actually there was quite a few pilots flying today. Hope most people got to the field sometime today.
