Aerial Photography has always interested me and I would like to start a small survey on what people are using for equipment. Are we sending up the $700 Nikons or the $40 Walmart specials.

Camera.. Make and Model...... weight would be cool
Aircraft used....
Power Source for Aircraft... Gas, Glow, Electric

If shooting video.. camera make and model

I have been shooting with the compact Panasonic Digital cameras.
DMC-LC5 and LC7

These are 4 and 5 megapixel cameras (respectively)

Plane: Astroflight Porterfield Collegiate. 12 cell geared .15 electric
Heli: Century HawkSE nitro

I prefer the heli to the plane since circuits are not required to frame up the subject. It also has the potential to be a more stable platform and has better control on takeoff and landing.

Take it slow and ask lots of questions.
Once you get a few good shots it will become addictive so consider yourself warned.
