I'm just completing a FanTastic MiG15 for indoor. Anyone else tried one of these, or the F86?

I found the instructions elaborate, but missing some critical details. I was not all that impressed, though the model looks good, more to do with previous building experience than the instructions.

Anyone else?

Terry there are some threads on RC groups I think. I believe I've seen you post there a few times I don't have any experience with theses but I was wondering which fan unit you are using and which motor? I have small high KV outrider CD rom motor, and I was thinking of building one of these. Sorry I'm asking for your help instead of giving you help. Did you source the kit in Canada?

Motor is a GWS50 with the 3-blade fan; I don't expect great things out of it, but the model was designed for it. Besides, I am a big fan of scale models that fly SCALE, and the Mig15 was simply not capable of the 45deg climbout that seems to be necessary for most of these guys.

Yes, I got the kit at the local hobby shop, but he has overextended himself to a point where I think he may have a breakdown. As a kit, it is fairly well made, but the instructions have big gaps. How it would go with a hiteck motor, I have no idea; I have seen tape of one flying in a gym and it seems to be capable of a lot.
