jr 8103, 9103, pcm10 reciever ???

ok here goes I just bought an older pcm10 and he has ordered a new 30 model memory 9103 I believe. My question is that will the same receivers interchange with all of them. Also what is the dif between z pcm and s pcm and are they interchangable. I have not flown in 10 years and this is all new to me

ZPCM is the older format and has 512 bits of resolution
SPCM is a newer (relatively) format with 1024 bits of resolution.
An original PCM10 is compatible with ZPCM, not the newer SPCM
Most newer JR radios permit you to select either SPCM or ZPCM, with the exception of the new 6102 which doesn't support ZPCM.
