LIFE RX Battery...

I am using the Hitec X1 to charge a 3200MAH LIFE rx battery....the charger display shows both cells extremely close to one another after 50 minutes....3.53/3.51 and a capacity of 111MAH Battery RES 452 ohms

What do the capacity and Battery RES figures actually mean? Battery good or N/good?

Re: LIFE RX Battery...

RES will be internal resistance

It's milliohms not ohms. I know nothing about it but if the pack does it's job then I would use your RES number as a base and if it gets significantly higher then the pack is getting old.
LIFE packs unless puffed I find are good to go. And even when puffed.

If you used it for a few flights or even 1 and you only put in 111 and it's at 7 volts(which will drop a bit off charge) then I don't see how it could be bad. The resistance would determine how much current? it can deliver but if used as a flight pack or glow driver or ignition the demand is light.

I cannot believe LIFE packs. I have a VPX (year 2007, black and decker.) which has been ignored for a year and it took 50 mah to charge it!
