Workbench (cheap and easy)

Just thought I would share with you guy's a little project I did (I had to do something). I don't have a lot of room to work on my helis so I had to come up with something to make it a little easer. I went to the hardware store and got a round disk that rotates, then I cut out a round table, got some plastic house trim and wraped it around the outside of the table and screwed it on, that way stuff wont roll of the table. Then I screwed the round disk to the bottom of the table and screwed an old peace of wood (2X6) to that. Now you just clamp the table in your workmate and you have a great workbench that rotates. You never have to get out of your chair, you just spin the table. The good thing about it is, you just take the table off and fold up the workmate and you can store it anywhere. The other good thing is, it is very cheap to build, I think I have about $40 bucks (CAN) into it (including the workmate) and about half hours work.
This is great for you guy's that don't have a lot of room (like me).

Airplane guy's mite have to cut out a bigger table, this one is only 3 feet across.

Very good idea. I used the turntable idea for board games on a large table.

only problem with them is that you can't fit a glow plane on that table too'd have to look at the specifics of each plane to make the work bench fit right.....perfect for choppers though
