Re: E revo newb

Hello and welcome to the forum too, first thing I upgraded was the driveshafts and wheels, stock plastic ones just didn't hold up, I have even already had to replace one of the shafts on the traxxas cvds ime running, I also run rpm a arms and axle carriers up front and rpm truetrack in the rear, have a traxxas rear chassis brace which helps with the cvds popping out of the drive cups, I kept chewing through the spur gears so I installed a robinson racing steel spur and all is good there, the next thing ime going to upgrade here soon is do the LST diff swap then I should never have a diff issue again. hope this helps

Re: E revo newb

most days I run onyx 8.4v 5000mah nihm batteries so I can get wet but on dry hot days when I don't mind fixing things I run 2 3s Gens ace 5000mah but cant get those anymore because of shipping laws into Canada, best place to find some lipos probly be amazon.ca , I buy some of the upgrades I use from towerhobbies and dollarhobbyz have great prices for take off parts, everything else I pretty much have, I have bins upon bins of new unopened rc parts from a hobby shop I bought out years back, I sell a lot locally and ship all over the world, just waiting my time here so I can sell them in the classified section one day

Re: E revo newb

for the ride height install the summit rockers and that should jack it up, personally I wouldn't cause it will flip easier with more power, what I did was just installed the longer summit shock springs to stiffen the ride up, still botooms out a bit on big jumps but haven't broken a chassis again since the spring swap.
