I am currently going through all my father's old equipment. Most likely about $100. I know they were $1,200 way back when!!! But he had his fair share of use out of them.

Re: JR 10X radio mixing issue.

Unless you want to fly on 72mhz double check what modules are available, it seems to me the original PCM10 and maybe the first 10SX were not able to be converted to 2.4. My first 10 channel radio was the 10SXII, then I went to the 10X, converted my first 10X and bought a second 10X that I also converted with the modules. About 9 years ago I bought the 12X and haven't bought another radio since. Even with my jets I don't think I have used more than 10 channels though I do have a couple matchboxes in my F5.

Great radio's, I would like to get a second 12X as a backup. The 28X looks amazing but I'm not about to drop that kind of coin on a radio.

Re: JR 10X radio mixing issue.

Since I have been using FRSKY FASST compatible receivers with absolutely no trouble on the Futaba, I grabbed their legacy ACCST setup for the 10X and now the 9303.

Same rock solid performance.
I know there's money in aviation........I put it there!

Not converting to 2.4. Out in a rural, rural area with little if any interference to think about. Mostly only myself and sometimes 1 other flying. Just not worth the dollars to change everything. If I did wish to already have a modular 10x.
Anybody recall if there were any 11x module variatons that you saw or used? Heard they were rather scarce but could be either 72 or 2.4.
