Re: NOIC Sault Ste. Marie

I had a wonderful time this weekend. Thanks to the Soo modelers for giving up the field on such a great weekend for the competition. Also hats off to the members who sat in a boat all day on patrol. Now to get my plane running better! I have to work on my work shop first, we got about 2" on water backed up from the city storm water into my basement Friday.

Re: NOIC Sault Ste. Marie

Well no one went in the water because I wasn't there.

How was the turn out, many Americans?

Sounds like everyone had a good time.

Kudos Craig and the Soo Flyers.

Re: NOIC Sault Ste. Marie

Made it home at 10:30 Sunday night. Many thanks to Craig and the Soo club for their support and efforts. Was a picture perfect weekend weather wise with light winds.

Was great to have new Basic pilots and see them having success and enjoying the weekend. Also great to see many friends and have a great time all weekend.

Jim - only Rob Willis and his wife from near Grand Rapids. So with those odds we were successful taking back the America's - Can-Am - Cup.

Again Craig, terrific job and tremendous welcoming effort by the club.

Re: NOIC Sault Ste. Marie

How many total?

Ya Paul said he brought up a new Basic guy, Danniel and he won.

Ahhh I relish those good old Road Warrior days of Basic.

Spent my weekend in two Emerg rooms.

Home now but no flying today and such a nice day, figures!
