Re: DSMX Module for Taranis/Turnigy 9XR/PRO

I think that only does DSM2

http://www.horizonhobby.com/radios/r...ble-spmmsjr720

The receiver is DSM2/DSMX but the module is only DSM2

Re: DSMX Module for Taranis/Turnigy 9XR/PRO

This is *not* a genuine Spektrum DM9 module. This is a DSM2/DSMX module based on a DX4E RF module and the circuit board listed in the link in the ad. It's designed to fit in the DM9 case.

Re: DSMX Module for Taranis/Turnigy 9XR/PRO

Can you interchange between FRsky and DSM2 receivers without unplugging the module? Will the module work on FrSky Taranis X9D PLUS?

Re: DSMX Module for Taranis/Turnigy 9XR/PRO

Yes, you use the internal module for frsky receivers(turning on the internal module in the programming) and turn on the external module for the dsm2/dsmx . I leave my similar module mounted in my Taranis PLUS and fly frsky receiver models and then BnF models without removing a thing. It's all the Taranis code/features.

Exactly what 4*60 said. That's what I do as well, it's nice not having to change anything around when flying multiple aircraft in a flying session.

Re: DSMX Module for Taranis/Turnigy 9XR/PRO

Were the modules from dx5e's? Your price seems good. I'm tempted to buy a second one for my 2nd Taranis. I just don't know why except for the great price!!

Re: DSMX Module for Taranis/Turnigy 9XR/PRO

The modules were from DX4e's, but the DX5e and DX6i all use the same modules. I'm not really making any money on these just trying to cover the cost of building them, they aren't doing anyone any good if they are just collecting dust in a box.

One sold, one left! If you're on the fence, grab it before it's gone!
