New quad owner from Nova Scotia

Hey everyone, i just recently purchased a cheap mini quad off of amazon as i have zero experience. This was so i can hone my skills before my next purchase. My intention is to eventually either purchase or try a dyi build of a racing quad. The dyi kinda of scares me right now but i will continue to do some research. Anyway im really not looking to get into actual racing anytime soon so the fpv is not required but i would like to mount a mobious to record video. Essentially i want a fun, fast quad that will get my blood pumping. At the moment i'm torn between a dyi build of a tarot 250 and an almost ready to fly Emax nighthawk 280. Just looking for your opinions on these two and if there are possibly any other quads i should be looking at. Thanks

I'd like to try a FPV racer one day as well. Right now I'm enjoying the heck out of a Traxxas Aton. Definitely gets the blood pumping at >50mph
I wonder if the 250 racers are harder to fly LOS as they are meant to fly FPV?
I suppose with the right combo of lights/colours you're OK with just about anything.
Looking forward to see what you choose!

I've been having a lot of fun with the QAV250. But it's a little on the pricier side. I heard the Eachine 250 is good for learning the ropes.

Have a look at the Arris X-Speed 250B. Actually a very good quad for the price.
