Bought a new plane, Goldberg Ultimate 10-300.....Of course I was told that it was in excellent condition. I know, you've been told this same story 100 times. Now I'm in the process of restoring my plane. I'm looking for a cowl as well as landing gear. It could also use a complete recover so if you know someone in the London area who would like to take on a project, please let me know.

AAARRRGGG. That really bugs me.

I once bought an engine that was "JUST BROKE IN" and looked pristine on the outside. I opened it up and it looked like it was broke in using dirt instad of air. Bearings shot and every orifice plugged with something.

I have had other, positive experiences though. Like the kind gentlman who sold me the Mustang 450 for a great price. (Thanks, Doug)

Anyway, I hope you get your airplane fixed to your liking soon!

Oh, by the way, here are some suppliers for fibreglass cowls in the U.S.:

http://www.fiberglassspecialtiesinc.com/ (This is Stan's Fiber Tech)

I've purchased a cowl and wheelpants for my Goldberg Jungmann from the last dealer, R/C city. The quality was excellent, white gelcoat and near flawless finish. He gave me a package deal on the cowl and pants. I'd buy from him again.

Hope this helps.
