A fellow club member lost his plane a few years back. He had skis on it and was lying off the dugout at his farm, had a fly away, last saw it going North West with 1/2 tank of fuel. A month later it was spotted by a trucker in a field about 25 miles North East of his farm!

Just wondering which HK device would have tracked that one?

A trucker has a better chance of spotting a model on the prairies, most
of the rest of the country is hopeless. I was back in that patch of woods
again yesterday......it would be nice to find JUST ONE, of the 5 models
I lost in there !! There's something spooky, about knowing that creations
from your own hands, are lurking not far from where you stand.
Oh well, just keep building more.
