Flashing LED Strobe Lights

A couple years ago I bought a board and some high output LED's from a guy in Manitoba or Saskatchewan over the internet. He custom made boards with processors that would give an intermittent strobe landing light pattern. Lost web page and email in a computer crash and can't remember his name(that's why I have a computer ha!)

Anybody know who this is?? I need a new processor.

I don't have the answers, but I have a personal relationship with the Guy that does.

Has anyone tried these out? It seems odd that most of the manufacturers selling lighting systems for model use never seem to show the lights working on models in bright sunlight???? I do not fly my models indoors or in poor light conditions so I would really like to see some 'scale' lighting ie nav, strobe and landing lights that look realistic on a sunny day...

The Curtek lights are the best I've ever used. As far as brightness on a sunny day - it's supposed to be scale so the brightness should also be scale-like.
