Their ad says Wide angle, Sunlight-Visible lamps.

Hi Chris, I find it quite odd that of all the manufacturers selling lighting systems for models that I have seen so far, Iam yet to see any photos of the lights working on models in normal sunlight... check out the so called 'sunlight visible' lights on the Electrodynamic site you mentioned how come the pic is of model is evening or night.... weird! anyway I think I will leave the nav lights as non functional and just go with a home made landing light made form a mini maglite lens and micro switch set up.... I still am considering a strobe if I can find one of scale appearence...

THE problem is... that the brighter the lights the BIGGER the lights and the BIGGER the battery --- and the heavier things get.

BUT HI-power LEDs will give you MORE light per oz of weight.
