Bud Nosen Citrabia

I recently acquired a basket case partially built Bud Nosen Citrabia but there was no window or windshield material. The 7" X 11" lexan material I have is fine for the side windows but I need a larger piece (10" X 15" ) for the windshield cutout. The kit is 1/4 scale and I am not really sure of the thickness of the material I need for the windshield. It only has to bend slightly (like a cub windshield). The hobby stores around here only have the 8 1/2" X 11" sheets. Does anyone know where I can get larger sheets and what thickness would be best.

Many thanks

Re: Bud Nosen Citrabia

i would suggest checking out home depot. I've purchased larger sheets of lexan there. Perhaps you dont' have to go too thick and use a heat gun to help bend it into it's final shape.

Find a local Plastics supply store and get some .040 - .060 PET. It's not expensive.
