Wings n Things -out of business??

Went to the Timmies by Wings n Things in Mississauga this morning on my way to my son's hockey practice and the store is empty.

Has he gone out of business or just moved somewhere else?

Anyone in the know?

Maybe he moved back to Brampton again? It would be good to have a local hobby shop in town again...
If it has wings, rotors or two wheels, I'm interested!

No haven't herd a thing but I was in there about three weeks ago and asked Wayne how it was going and he didn't sem to positive.

Always thought it was a little weird to open a hobby shop within 5 minutes of another well established shop.

I hope he has just moved and not packed it in. If so where did all his stock go?

wings and things

That is really too bad, I enjoyed going to his shop, whenever I had a question, Wayne would allways take his time and try to explain it to me right. I hope hes just relocating, if anybody knows, let us know, thanks,,,,Joey

I was in there just before Christmas, and all seemed normal, other than the sale posters on the door and windows. I had heard rumblings and speculation, because Wayne never seemed to have sales, but nothing more.

When he first moved to Mississauga I heard some comments about the rental costs for the old location being too high. Maybe he is having issues with the overhead again????? Lets face it, this is a business and he has to do so much of it just to stay afloat.

The few times I went in there I found he did not have the stuff I was looking for so I stopped dropping in.

And like you said, having 2 hobby shops so close together could not have been good for business.
