ok thanks

Is Great Hobbies the best place to get stuff in canada? I did find that charger on Hobby King for 41US plus 24$us shipping and after the exchange i am upto 100$, just wondering why not order from amazon. Is the shipping from hobbyking usually so much?

Re: Need help with battery managment and binding process.

So im thinking about going with these two products. They should work together and let me charge all my batteries at once.
Parallel Charge Board
Hitec X1 Plus Charger

The charger has some great reviews and should work for plane upgrades with bigger batteries in the future.

Great hobbies is fine. I've never had any issues at all with them, but I also have never ordered online from them either. I have Great Hobbies, and Hobbyhobby, my favourite place, less than 10 minutes from me, so I have lots of choices. Shipping from hobbyking is expensive. It's coming from Hongkong most of the time. You can also select different warehouses, so shipping might be less. I'm leary of ordering hobby stuff from Amazon, just me.

These two products would be great for what you have now, and good for growing into as well. Just remember, on a low power charger, the bigger the batteries, the longer it's going to take to charge. On my setup, I can charge 3 6s batteries in less than a half an hour.

This website has tons of info, good, easy reading. http://www.tjinguytech.com/home

The charger you listed looks good. I use an Imax B6 A/C and it works real well but I don't see where you can get one locally.

Re: Need help with battery managment and binding process.

yup, like already stated, just switch profiles in Tx and then pop in the battery. That is where you were getting lost, because your flying the 1s stuff, their is no bind plug and automatically goes into bind mode when it senses no Tx, if you had the Tx on already then this wouldn't have happened

I'm using a iCharger 206b, with an external power supply. It will charge my 3 6s batteries in about a half an hour, parallel charging. It's been a very reliable system, charging and discharging batteries for winter storage.

Re: Need help with battery managment and binding process.

I think i will go with the one i have listed above. I wont be getting anything that requires more than a 1S battery until like May of next year. And even then i will probably only move into 2S or 3S at most i think. Should keep my Nano QX flying over the winter just fine.
