I have the same radio on ch 54 am
this thing has been fault less since 1987 flown every year
a few times only needed batteries in over 800 flights
the tx tested narrow band ( gold sticker ) 10 years ago and rx not even affected by tx on ch 55 2 feet away. awsome
I know it is not supposed to be legal anymore but it is a durn good radio
I use it for park flyers now

I was over at a friend of a friend's house and saw the radio. I bought the radio and an old pilot 25 size f-16 kit off the guy. Both these were New in the box. I have the F-16 half built.
